Santa Clarita Valley Community Information
Santa Clarita is a beautiful, thriving community located just north of Los Angeles. It actually consists of 7 different communities: Canyon Country, NewHall, Saugus and Valencia are part of Santa Clarita proper, while Agua Dulce, Castaic and Val Verde are outlying areas still considered part of the Santa Clarita community.

Santa Clarita (or the SCV as it's known to the locals), is only about 10 years old. The city of 150,000 is ranked the fifth safest in the nation among cities with more than 100,000 residents. Santa Clarita is growing by leaps and bounds, its population is predicted to grow to 270,000 by the year 2010.
